About
That's a Legacy
It's not the Sunday cooks or the recipes passed down.
It's the hours by the fire. The long nights tending embers nobody else sees. The work that never makes it into a photo — just me, the fire, and time, waiting to see the fruits of my labor and the people I love enjoying what I built.
That's a legacy. And it's the reason I build the way I do.
Nearly 30 Years in the Fire
After almost 30 years of welding and fabrication — putting hard work, blood, and sweat into every job, whether out in the field or back in the shop — I knew it was time to start building a legacy of my own.
That's how Legacy BBQ Pits was born, right here in Brandon, Mississippi. I don't run an assembly line. Every offset smoker, Santa Maria grill, and live-fire cooker that leaves my shop is hand-fabricated by me, with the same attention to detail as the last one. When you buy from me, you know exactly whose hands built it.
I Don't Just Cook on the Fire — I Build What Holds It
Anybody can sell you a smoker. I fabricate the pit your grandkids will still be cooking on.
The equipment is only half the story — the other half is the years of cooks, gatherings, and quiet early mornings it's going to carry. That's a responsibility I take seriously, and it shows in every weld, every seam, every finish. I don't cut corners you can't see, because I know those are the corners that matter most.
Mass-produced equipment is built to be replaced. Mine is built to be inherited.
Start Your Legacy
Whether you're outfitting a backyard, a competition rig, or a business built on fire and smoke, I'd be honored to build the pit your story gets told around.
